Kung-fucking-fu Dunk

Omg. Yes. I know that Kung Fu Dunk came out quite a while ago.

And to all you flamers-to-be, here's what I've got to say.

Anyway, seriously, the person who came up with the idea of Kung Fu Dunk must have been high, and probably desperate to milk the whole "kung fu sports" genre dry.

Kung Fu Dunk? What the hell is it with all these Kung Fu this, Tai Chi that, or Judo or Wushu whatever. My god. ITS LAME. Like, seriously. It's fucking lame. I can't believe my friends actually come up to me and say "Eh, Kung Fu Dunk is damn nice la!"

....And here I was thinking that you would need the soaring IQ of a fish to actually find the show funny.

And the premise of it is so cliche. I mean, come on, okay, Shaolin Soccer was cool. It was the pioneer of the genre, and it was pretty creative for its time. But now? All they're doing is milking the cash cow dry. The premise of kung fu sports is getting sort of old by now.

"But Jon, what about Kung Fu Panda?"

Dude, that show is made by Pixar, with the demographic of family (read : small children, with parents tagging along) in mind. It's meant to entertain the little dudes.

Tai Chi Jogging! Judo Cooking! Kung Fu Lawn Mowing!

I'll probably direct my own show in the future. It'll be called Wushu (Staff discipline) Masturbatio- Oops. No profanity stance.
